Merry Christmas 2015!
It's Christmas! Yay!! There's always a big rush to finish things, but once it's done I love the actual celebrating part. So do my kids :)
Here are a few pictures from our Christmas Eve preparations and celebrations!
Smashing candy canes for our white chocolate candy cane bark. (Yep... they're in pajamas... that's how we roll on Christmas Eve... until it's time for church!)
The finished product... ready to freeze and then break up!
Of course cleaning up afterwards is the best part ;)
We also made Christmas Rice Krispie squares, Rocky Road cookie bars, and brownies (iced and decorated with Christmas sprinkles).
We wrapped a bunch of gifts... and my kids decluttered some of their toys to give to their cousins (more on that in an upcoming #NetZeroClutter post!).
We made some packages of chocolates for our neighbours and dropped those off.
And then we went to church, where the kids got to decorate gingerbread cookies before the service.
I think there's more decorations than cookie!
My son gobbled his up a little quicker... and is thinking... mom stop taking so many pictures... I just want to eat my cookie!
Oh and he does have a red shirt under his sweatshirt... that's about as Christmasy and dressed up he gets LOL.
After church we spent time with family and friends and then just before we left we took a few pictures.
Gotta have a goofy one...
It usually makes for nicer smiles afterwards :)
Merry Christmas from my family to yours! I'm so grateful that you've been part of my life this year. Enjoy your celebrations today!
